When you become a member of the Bowen Island Conservancy you’re joining a group of like-minded people who share your values concerning nature, and who are committed to preserving and protecting it on our beautiful island.
As well, you’re making a statement about the importance of nature in your life, and you’re supporting the Conservancy’s initiatives. We appreciate that support very much!
Your membership has direct impact
Membership fees help us to fund our operations: the multiple projects and events that we plan and carry out throughout the year. As well, it has a direct and positive impact on our applications for additional funding from various sources.
How to become a member
Becoming a member is easy! First, choose the type of annual membership that you prefer:
- Family membership: $25
- Individual membership: $15
If you are a new member joining after July 1st then a Family membership is $15, while Individual memberships are $10.
Then choose one of the two ways below to join:
By email and e-transfer
Please send us an email message about joining, and include your:
- Name (and, if you choose a Family membership, please include your family members)
- Address
- Telephone number
We will reply with the email-address for the e-transfer, and we’ll add your name to our membership records.
By mailing a membership form
Print a copy of the membership application form, and complete it. If you wish to make an additional donation to support our work, enter the amount in the space provided at the end of the form.
Then drop it in the mail to us, with your cheque. Our address is:

We’ll send you a tax receipt for any donation over $20.00 (note that CRA does not allow us to count membership fees as donations).
